Strano Lab researchers have developed a nanosensor-coated catheter that could enable earlier detection of bladder cancer by sensing tumor biomarkers directly in the organ. Published in Nature Nanotechnology and supported in part through a Bridge Project collaboration with the Wollin and Preston groups at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, the study demonstrates ultra-sensitive “chemical imaging” that may pinpoint tumors before they become visible.
