Michele Griffin has been working in cancer research for 19+ years. Chemist turned flow cytometrist, she first learned about flow cytometry working at Dana Farber as a member of the gene team project researching genes that cause differentiation in the thymus. Now she is Co-leader of the Flow Cytometry Core and founded flowomen, a women’s flow cytometry group to share educational content and support each other as strong women leaders and scientists. She is an active member of the KI community and has been on numerous committees including the KI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. 

A lifelong learner with degrees in chemistry and behavioral health, she created Feed Your Mind & Soul, a wellness business to foster community and prioritize emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Outside of the Koch Institute, you can find her wellness coaching, hiking with her German Shepherd Sadie, or on her yoga mat.
