In the continuum of training the next generation of leading cancer researchers—from MIT undergraduates working in faculty labs, through graduate student fellowships, and beyond—the Koch Institute is proud to host a dynamic community of postdoctoral scientists and engineers.
Working in the labs of the KI's 25 award-winning faculty members, KI postdoctoral researchers pursue their selected advanced cancer research strategies: projects that provide to the KI research community a steady stream of new insights and avenues for investigation. These KI postdoctoral researchers are funded through competitively-awarded postdoctoral research grants that provide the researchers with a stipend and funds for research expenses.
The Koch Institute seeks to expand the number of Koch Institute Postdoctoral Fellowships. Donors receive yearly updates on the progress of their funded fellows' research, and the satisfaction of following their funded fellows' post-fellowship progress in cancer research.
