Bringing together leaders in research, industry, clinical care, and patient advocacy, this program showcases bold approaches to fight cancer. Biocon CEO Kiran Mazumder-Shaw went from brewer to biotechnology icon while journalist Ann Murray Paige's battle with breast cancer transformed her into a filmmaker, author, and blogger. In the laboratory, KI Professor Angelika Amon pursues compounds that selectively kill most tumor cells, and KI Clinical Investigator Alice Shaw shepherds new treatments into the clinic while caring for patients.
