How Does Cancer Learn To Spread?

Metastasis, the spread of cancer to distant tissues, is responsible for as much as 90% of cancer-related deaths.  To prevent and better treat metastatic disease, scientists must first understand what drives it.  This video tells the story of researchers in the Jacks lab who are uncovering the genes responsible for cancer's deadly mobility.  It is currently featured in the interactive displays of the KI Public Galleries.
